From now on, I think I should not post too much about my art on Facebook. In fact, I don’t think anyone in my family has any idea that I’ve always been working hard on my artworks. I’ll just share family pics and things I do outside my serious projects I’m still working on. Projects I do take time, and I mean, A LOT of time, and it hurts when I see my art barely get more than 4 likes.

People who aren’t artists generally don’t understand the time and effort it takes to make art look nice, and AI art is absolutely ruining that perception now. 

My projects are very hard to do and I don’t see a lot of artists trying to replicate it. 🤷 And when they try to, it looks like crap! 🤣 Yeah, I know I sound egotistical but that’s the only way I can keep functioning with my art. A little bit of ego can go a long way, imo, especially when i have to do all of this by myself with zero support, motivations, and encouragements. I think my motivation is still strong as heck since no one says anything about my work. I think my ego is responsible for it.

Maybe I’ll share some of my work here, but every time I do, I get almost no responses. Pretty strange. Maybe friends and family are the worst way to start spreading your art around. Their interests are not going to line up with yours and they’re not going to support you as much as you thought they would. I learned this the hard way. I was too slow to realize that. 

I keep my works secretive for a lot of reasons. One main reason is not getting responses for them. I worked hard on them and again, I don’t think they understand the amount of time, and determination to actually get them done. Even some “new friends” got disrespectful towards me by showing their crap, unfinished artworks done in crayons and say “see? I can do it! It’s easy!” Uh, no. It looks like crap. Stop embarrassing yourself. ✋ 

Again, people’s perception with art are completely skewed thanks to the dumbest fad to ever exist, AI “art”.
