March 15, 2026
Now, it's March 2026, and I'm still waiting to hear from Copyright dot gov. I paid $65 to get my first comic book copyrighted. It has my own creation in it. My own characters, my own stories, and my own art.
So far, I've been working on the second book (issue #2) with digital inking. I don't want to show too much, and I think this picture is perfect. He arrives Tropholis City by running there on foot. That's all I can say.
Soon, I'll start digitally coloring the pages for the second book, since I already completed most of the black and white digitally inked pages so far.
Well, this is a very slow process. What a pain in the neck. Why does copyright have to be so complicated? It's so simple. Just copyright it, for Pete's sake!! Why does it take them months to approve that? It makes no sense to me.
Until next time,
Brandon Nielsen
